The Sherwood Park Crusaders continued to make moves ahead of the trade deadline, acquiring 2007-born forward Easton Schlender from the Chilliwack Chiefs.
An Edmonton, Alberta native, Schlender began the 2025–26 season with the Chiefs, where he recorded seven points (2 goals, 5 assists) in 23 games played.
In exchange, the Crusaders sent future considerations to Chilliwack to complete the deal.
The organization is excited to welcome Easton to Sherwood Park and looks forward to his continued development and contributions moving forward.
