Sherwood Park Crusaders
About the Sherwood Park Crusaders
The Sherwood Park Crusaders Junior Hockey Club is a non-profit organization committed to the development of elite young hockey players in a competitive and supportive environment. Founded in 1978, we play a vital role in Alberta's hockey community as a proud member of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire, develop, and advance young athletes both on and off the ice. We strive to provide high-level hockey training and mentorship while emphasizing education, personal growth, and community involvement. We aim to foster not only the next generation of athletes, but also well-rounded individuals prepared for success in life.
What We Do
The Sherwood Park Crusaders offer structured development programs for athletes ages 16-20, focusing on technical skill development, game intelligence, and leadership. In addition to competitive league play, we provide:
- Access to certified coaches and mentorship staff
- Strength and conditioning training
- Academic support and NCAA/CIS exposure
- Community engagement initiatives and volunteering
Supporting Young Athletes
We are deeply committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential. Our players develop not only as hockey players, but as leaders, teammates, and responsible citizens. We take pride in preparing our athletes for future success in collegiate, professional, and life pursuits.
