The Sherwood Park Crusaders have bolstered their forward group with the addition of 2006-born forward Miles Burgin, acquired in a trade with the Surrey Eagles.
In exchange, the Crusaders have sent forward Gleb Semenko and future considerations to Surrey to complete the deal.
A native of Surrey, B.C., Burgin began the 2025–26 season with the Chicago Steel of the USHL, where he recorded eight points (four goals, four assists) in 33 games played.
The organization is excited to welcome Miles to Sherwood Park and looks forward to his contributions on and off the ice. The Crusaders would also like to thank Gleb Semenko for his time and dedication to the organization and wish him all the best moving forward.
