The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the acquisition of forward Eli Friedman (’05) from the Powell River Kings.
In exchange, the Crusaders have traded the rights to forward Chris Battaini (’05) and future considerations to the Kings.
Friedman joins the Cru following two seasons in Powell River. Last season, the Rye, NY, native collected 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists) in 20 games. Prior to his time with the Kings, Friedman was a part of the Brunswick School program, potting 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) in 28 games.
Friedman is currently committed to Yale University (NCAA, Div. 1) for the 2026/2027 season.
