The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of goaltender Filip Vavro (’08) for the 2025/2026 BCHL Campaign.
Vavro, 17, played with the Seacoast Academy program for the past three seasons. Last year, as part of their 16U AAA team, the Slovakia native collected a record of 21-5-1, including a remarkable 7 shutouts. Additionally, the 6’0 goaltender posted a sparkling 1.08 GAA, along with a .954 save percentage.
The Crusaders would like to welcome Filip and the Vavro family to the organization.
