Three Crusaders Named to NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

Forwards Kale Dach (#136), Jeremy Loranger (#149), and Poul Andersen (#151) were all named to NHL Central Scouting’s final draft rankings for the 2024/2025 season.

NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings feature the top 224 skaters and 32 goaltenders in North America.

Dach is currently in his second season with the Crusaders, and his first as captain. The Penn State commit finished second in league scoring this season, collecting 87 points (22 goals, 65 assists) in 54 games. His 65 assists also tied for the BCHL lead in assists. In addition to being selected for the year-end rankings, Dach, along with fellow Crusaders Jeremy Loranger and Poul Andersen, was named to the NHL Central Scouting “Players to Watch” mid-season rankings. Shortly after, the Fort Saskatchewan native was one of eight Crusaders selected to the BCHL Top Prospects Game.

Loranger, currently committed to Omaha Nebraska University, collected 105 points (40 goals, 65 assists) through just 54 games. His point total was 18 points more than teammate Kale Dach, and 30 points more than his closest non-Crusaders competitor. Loranger was one of three Crusaders named to NHL Central Scouting’s Mid-Season Players to Watch List, alongside Dach and fellow rookie Poul Andersen. In November, Loranger was selected as the Crusaders’ representative at the BCHL All-Star Game and was one of eight Crusaders selected to the BCHL’s Top Prospects Game. Loranger has also been nominated for the BCHL’s MVP award, as well as Rookie of the Year.

Andersen, originally from St. Louis Park, Minnesota, was second in rookie scoring, collecting a total of 59 points (29 goals, 30 assists) in 51 games. The forward was also selected to the BCHL’s Top Prospects Game this season, and also earned his place on NHL Central Scouting’s Players to Watch List. At the time of writing, Andersen has collected five points (2 goals, 3 assists) in four playoff games.

Congratulations to Kale, Jeremy, and Connor on their well-deserved placements.
