SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of goaltender Spencer Michnik (’06) for the remainder of the 2024/2025 BCHL Season.
Michnik is expected to join the team prior to this weekend’s action against the Spruce Grove Saints and Brooks Bandits.
“We are excited to welcome Spencer to our roster and improve our depth at the goaltending position,” commented Crusaders general manager Adam Sergerie. “Spencer brings a competitive nature that embodies what the Sherwood Park Crusaders are all about. We look forward to having him in the lineup this coming weekend.”
Michnik, 18, has spent the 2024/2025 season with the Victoria Royals of the WHL. Through 12 games, Michnik has compiled a 5-5-1 record, earning a .883 save percentage. Previously, the Sylvan Lake native was a part of the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Crusaders would like to welcome Spencer and the Michnik family to the organization.
