COMMITMENT | KALE DACH COMMITS TO PENN STATE UNIVERSITY

SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce forward Kale Dach’s commitment to Penn State University (NCAA, Div 1.)

“The hockey culture, facility, and staff at PSU all contributed to my decision to commit,” Dach stated. “I would like to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone else who has supported me to get to where I am today.”

“We are thrilled for Kale and his family for his commitment to a Big Ten school like Penn State,” commented Crusaders GM Adam Sergerie. “That Kale achieved this milestone just 10 games into his junior career speaks volumes about his talent and the bright future ahead. While Kale’s skill and hockey sense are evident strengths, he deserves more credit for his competitiveness and defensive habits at such a young age. Kale is dedicated to everything he does, taking pride in being both a great student and athlete. His relentless work ethic is truly impressive; watching him devote himself to improvement every day is inspiring.”

The commitment marks the 13th Crusader on this year’s team to earn a post-secondary scholarship.

Dach, a 2007-born forward, is currently in his first season with the Crusaders. In his 10 games thus far with Sherwood Park, the Fort Saskatchewan native has potted 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists). Prior to joining the Crusaders, Dach played the last three seasons as part of the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers program, spending the majority of last year with the U17 AAA team. In 32 games with the club, Dach collected a total of 46 points (15 goals, 31 assists), with an additional 13 points (7 goals, 6 assists) in 9 playoff games.

The Crusaders would like to congratulate Kale and the entire Dach family on his accomplishment.
