TRADE ⎸ Crusaders Acquire Forward Lucas Brennan

SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the acquisition of forward Lucas Brennan (’04) from the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs will receive future considerations in exchange.

“I am very familiar with Lucas,” commented Crusaders GM Adam Sergerie. “He played in Selkirk for the Steelers, where I also played for 3 seasons. I got a lot of good feedback about him.”

“He was a player we had hoped to have here in the summer,” Sergerie continued. “It didn’t work out, but we’re just as excited to have him join us now and give our group a boost heading into the second half of the season. Lucas has the ability to put the puck in the net and competes hard. He will be a great fit inside our style of play.”

Brennan, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, has split the 2024/2025 campaign with the Vernon Vipers and the Bulldogs. Through 21 games, the forward has collected a total of 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists).

Brennan is currently committed to Bemidji State University (NCAA, Div. 1) for the 2025/2026 season.

The entire organization would like to welcome Lucas and the Brennan family to the organization.
