SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of defenceman Jude Bray (’08), who has committed to the organization for the upcoming 2024/2025 campaign.
“I am enthused to be part of an elevated and progressive hockey club,” commented Bray on his decision to join the Crusaders. “I feel like it is a good fit for me to advance as a player and person and I am excited for the journey ahead. Looking forward to the Sherwood Park program. My intention is to be a positive force in all respects.”
The excitement is mutual, commented Crusaders President of Hockey Operations, Adam Sergerie.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jude to the Crusaders!” he stated. “As a standout player for the prestigious Toronto Marlboro’s program in the GTHL, Jude brings an incredible skill set and a proven track record of success. His talent and pedigree make him an extraordinary addition to our team.

Bray, a native of Niagra-on-the-Lake, Ontario, joins the Crusaders after six seasons with in the Greater Toronto Hockey League as part of the Toronto Marlboros AAA Program. Edmontonians will be familiar with the 5’10 defenceman, as he was a part of the 2017/2018 edition of Edmonton’s Brick Invitational Tournament. There, Bray collected an impressive 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) in 8 games. Bray was additionally a part of this year’s GTHL Top Prospects Game.
