SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of forward Michael Munroe for the remainder of the 2024/2025 BCHL season.
Munroe is expected to make his Crusaders debut this weekend, as the team takes on the Spruce Grove Saints and Brooks Bandits.
“We’re very excited to add Michael. Another young, talented player with tremendous upside joining the group is very exciting! Michael’s skating, compete, and skill set will fit in perfectly with our style of play. He plays with a lot of pace, and we expect him to make an immediate impact in our lineup. His best hockey is ahead of him, and we look forward to maximizing his development here in Sherwood Park.”
Munroe, a 2007-born forward, has played the past season with the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL. In 23 games, the Hanover, MA native has collected a total of 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists).
The Crusaders would like to welcome Michael and the Munroe family to the organization.
