SIGNING ⎸ Masun Fleece Signs with Sherwood Park Crusaders

SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of forward Masun Fleece (’07) for the remainder of the 2024/2025 BCHL season.

Fleece, a native of Rolling Hills, CA, is expected to make his Crusaders debut this Friday against the Brooks Bandits.

We’re thrilled to welcome a player like Masun to our team,” stated Crusaders GM Adam Sergerie. “He brings a winning pedigree, having captured the Clark Cup with Fargo last season. Prior to that, Masun honed his skills at the prestigious Shattuck St. Mary’s program, where he achieved significant success. It’s clear that he’s been well-coached throughout his career.”

“Masun is a highly intelligent player with excellent on-ice habits, a skilled stick for making plays, and a natural ability to finish around the net,” he continued. “Masun makes our lineup deeper and we look forward to having him in the lineup this weekend!”

Fleece, 17, has played the past two seasons with the Fargo Force of the USHL. This year, the forward has collected 9 points (4 goals, 5 assists) in 24 games. Through his time in Fargo, Fleece has accumulated 19 points (11 goals, 8 assists) in 73 games.

Fleece is currently committed to Penn State University (NCAA, Div. 1) for the 2026/2027 season.

The Crusaders would like to welcome Masun and the entire Fleece family to the organization.
