The BCHL has named Crusaders forwards Jeremy Loranger and Kale Dach the 1st and 2nd stars of the week, respectively.
Both Loranger and Dach averaged over a point per game last week despite the Crusaders’ 1-2 record.
Loranger extended his BCHL scoring lead to 12 points, collecting a total of nine points (five goals, four assists) across last week’s three games. The week included a four-point effort against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, potting two goals (including a shorthanded marker) and two assists.
Dach continues to sit second in BCHL scoring, with a total of 63 points across 40 games. Last week saw the Crusaders captain collect seven points (one goal, six assists), extending his league lead in helpers to five.
The selections mark the fourth and second appearances on the BCHL’s weekly Three Stars ranking for Loranger and Dach, respectively. Loranger previously was ranked the 1st (December 23rd), 2nd (December 16th), and 3rd (October 8th) star of the month, while Dach has earned 2nd star honours one previously (December 23rd).
