The Crusaders were on the road this past weekend taking on the Cranbrook Bucks and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
The Crusaders would come away with a 4-3 win on Friday against the Bucks and a 7-2 win over the Silverbacks on Sunday.
Coming into Friday’s game the Crusaders would give up the game’s first goal as Konstantin Hutzinger would open the scoring for the Bucks just past the ten minute mark of the first to put Cranbrook up 1-0.
Coming into the second Bode Sampair would tie the game three minutes into the period, for his eighth of the season to level the game at 1-1. The Crusaders would then get back to back goals, Braeden O’Keefe would score just two minutes later to make it 2-1, then Erik Kald scored in the late stages of the second to put the Cru’ up 3-1.
The Bucks however would score back to back goals in the opening ten of the third to tie the game up at three a piece. Quincy Supprien however would score with five minutes left to give the Forward his 15th of the season and the eventual game-winner, 4-3.

Coming into Sunday’s game, the Crusaders would open the scoring against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks as Brant Romaniuk and Jude Bray would both score in the opening 20 to put the Crusaders up 2-0 going into the second.
The Crusaders would then get their third of the game just two minutes into the middle period as Ryan White would get his first as a Crusader to put the Guys in Green up 3-0. The Silverbacks however would get on the board as Landon Mackie would score his first as a Silverback to make it a 3-1 hockey game going into the third.
The Silverbacks would score just 42 second into the period on the 5-on-3 as Kiefer Miller scored his eighth of the season to make it a one goal game. The Crusaders however would dominate the rest of the period as Kent Moors, Erik Kald, Jude Bray and Joseph Sinclair all scored four straight goals for the Cru’ in the third to give them the eventual 7-2 win.
With those two wins that marks four straight wins for the Crusaders as they look to take that momentum into their two game weekend home stand against the Blackfalds Bulldogs and the West Kelowna Warriors, Tickets for the events can be purchased here.
