The BCHL hosted its 2026 All-Star Weekend this past weekend in Spruce Grove, and the Sherwood Park Crusaders were well represented, with six players selected to take part in the event.
Forwards Braeden O’Keefe and Quincy Supprien represented Team Interior in Friday’s College Prospects Game. Supprien was the lone Crusader to find the scoresheet, opening the scoring with the game’s first goal in Team Interior’s 5–3 victory.
Sherwood Park had four players featured in Saturday’s World vs. Canada showcase. Defenseman Erik Kald and captain Stevie Grumley suited up for Team World, while forward Joseph Sinclair and defenseman Jude Bray represented Team Canada. The Crusaders’ Canadian duo made an immediate impact, combining for four points, with each recording a goal and an assist in Team Canada’s 7–2 win. On the World side, Kald was the only Crusader to register a point, picking up an assist on the opening goal of the game.
The Crusaders gear up to continue regular season action as they hit the road this weekend to take on the Cranbrook Bucks and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
All road games are streamed at Game On Sports.
