Crusaders Add Former Assistant Captain Tait Ross To Coaching Staff

The Crusaders are pleased to announce the hiring of former assistant-captain Tait Ross to the team’s coaching personnel.

“It’s super exciting for myself,” commented Ross when asked what it means to have the privilege to be a player and coach for the organization.

“People in this organization were so good to me, people in this community were so great to me and I’m pretty excited to be able to re-pay that.”

Originally from Coquitlam, British Columbia, Ross began his junior career in the BCHL with the Surrey Eagles. He later spent time with the Prince George Spruce Kings and the Coquitlam Express before joining the Sherwood Park Crusaders ahead of the 2023 season.

Over two seasons with the Crusaders, Ross appeared in 76 games, recording 28 points while establishing himself as a trusted presence in the lineup. In his final year of junior eligibility, he also wore a letter, serving as an assistant captain and leader within the dressing room.

The team and fans welcome Tait back into the organization as the team heads into B.C this weekend to take on the Cranbrook Bucks and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
