The Sherwood Park Crusaders made a move this week, adding Defenseman Matthew Thomas through a recent trade with the Powell River Kings.
The Crusaders acquired the defenseman through an exchange of future considerations for the 2005-born Wheatley Ontario native.
Thomas started his season with the Brooks Bandits getting two points including a goal in four games before he was traded to Powell River where he played eleven games recording four points.
The team and the fans welcome Matthew as he is set to make his Crusaders debut on Friday, November 21st against the top-seeded West Kelowna Warriors.
