The Sherwood Park Crusaders bolstered their blue line this week, acquiring defenceman Garin Ludwig in a trade with the Nanaimo Clippers.
The Crusaders picked up the 2006-born Eagle River, Alaska native in exchange for future considerations.
Ludwig began the season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL, recording one point in 12 games, before signing with the Clippers. Since joining Nanaimo, he has produced four points over 14 games.
The organization and its fans welcome Garin to Sherwood Park, as he is set to make his Crusaders debut on Friday, January 23, against the Cranbrook Bucks.
