TRADE ⎸ Crusaders Acquire Dalton Macgillivray in Three Team Swap

SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the acquisition of forward Dalton Macgillivray (’04) from the Langley Rivermen as part of a three-way trade. Macgillivray is currently committed to Lindenwood University (NCAA, Div. 1).

We’re thrilled to add a player like Dalton at this point in the season,” stated Crusaders general manager, Adam Sergerie. “His combination of skill and grit will be important as we push for a strong finish. Dalton possesses a high-end skill set and has consistently produced throughout his junior career. He’s the kind of player who elevates those around him, competing with an edge that pulls his teammates into the fight every shift.”

Macgillivray currently sits 17th in BCHL scoring, collecting 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 33 games. In his four years in the BCHL, the Surrey native has picked up 77 points (33 goals, 34 assists) in 102 games.

In exchange, the Riverman acquire forward Ben Portner and future considerations from the Cowichan Valley Capitals, while the Capitals acquire the rights to goaltender Erick Roest.

The Crusaders would like to welcome Dalton and the Macgillivray family to the organization.
