SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the signing of defenceman Jackson Schneider (’07) for the 2024/2025 season.
“We are excited to add Jackson to our group for next season. Jackson was a first-team all-star in the AEHL U18 AAA league last season and was recognized as one of the best defensemen in Western Canada. He is a high-character individual, and we have had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with him over the past few seasons as he has been an affiliated player for the Crusaders. Jackson plays the game hard, skates very well, has excellent puck skills, and will fit in perfectly with our style of play.”

Last season saw Schneider pick up a goal in his single game with the Crusaders. The 17-year-old defenceman spent the majority of last year with his hometown Calgary Buffaloes U18 AAA program, where he collected 22 points (8 goals, 14 assists) in 33 games. The 2023/2024 season also saw Schneider named to the U18 AAA First All-Star Team
